We offer a comprehensive repair service for all guitars, basses, pedals, amplifiers and more, with an in-store workshop for most repairs and modifications and an extended team of specialists Luthiers, electronics experts and techs that we call on from time to time.
From basic restrings, pedal board setups to guitar modifications we can do pretty much anything you need.
Our in store experts, Jason, Feritt and Richard can give you advice and guidance as to what needs doing to get your instruments and gear back to tip top condition.
We also offer a full Woodwind repair service with our in house tech Ray Jane and are hoping to expand our repairs service even wider in the near future.

Repair Services Terms and Conditions

1. Agreement to Terms

By booking a repair service with [Foulds Guitars LTD] ("we," "us," or "our"), you ("the customer") agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our repair services.

2. Repair Services

Our repair services include, but are not limited to:

String replacement

Fret dressing and replacement

Pickup installation

Electronic repairs

General maintenance and cleaning

Woodwind repairs

3. Assessment and Estimates

Upon receiving your item(s), our technicians will assess the condition and provide an estimate for the repair costs.

4. Approval and Commencement of Work

Repairs will only begin after you have approved of the estimated costs. Your items will be booked into our system and will go into a first come first served queue. Any additional work identified during the repair process will be communicated to you for further approval.

5. Turnaround Time

We strive to complete repairs within the estimated time frame provided at the time of assessment. Different repairs can vary from a few days to several months turnaround depending on the nature of the job, the technician, and the status of our current job queue. Unforeseen issues may cause delays. We will endeavour to keep you informed of any changes to the estimated completion time.

6. Payment Terms

Payment for repair services is due upon completion of the work. We accept cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment as agreed upon at the time of booking. A deposit may be required for certain high-value repairs.

7. Warranty and Liability

We provide a 30-day warranty on all repair work, effective from the date of completion. This warranty covers workmanship and parts provided by us. It does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, or unauthorized modifications. Our liability is limited to the repair or replacement of parts and services provided.

8. Collection of Repaired Items

You will be notified when your guitar, pedal or amplifier is ready for collection. Items not collected within 60 days of notification may incur storage fees. After 90 days, uncollected items will be disposed of or sold to recover costs unless an alternative agreement has been made in writing.

9. Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate information about the condition and issues of your guitar. We are not liable for any undisclosed pre-existing conditions or damage.

10. Changes to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. The updated terms will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately.
