Foulds Guitars – Terms & Conditions

1. General

These terms apply to all transactions on www.fouldsguitars.com
Foulds Guitars reserve the right to update these terms at any time without notice.
These terms do not affect your statutory rights.
By purchasing from us, you confirm acceptance of these terms.

2. Prices

Prices and promotions may be website-only and may not be available in-store.
We are under no obligation to honour website pricing in-store.

Some products may be offered with two-tier pricing (e.g. with/without setup) as part of an online-only structure.

While we aim for accuracy, pricing errors may occur. In such cases, we may:

Cancel the order and issue a full refund

Offer the item at the correct price

All prices include VAT.
Accepted payment methods: Switch, Solo, Mastercard, Amex, Visa, Delta.

3. Setups

All instruments are checked and set up to meet our in-store standards.
Online purchases may offer setup as an optional service on selected products.

4. Delivery & Shipping

UK & Northern Ireland delivery only (standard service)

International shipping available on request

Dispatch aim: within 2 working days (typically 24hr courier)

Deliveries: Monday–Friday (excluding Bank Holidays)

Delivery address must match the registered payment address

All deliveries are insured

5. Shipping Charges

Typically £4.99 - £9.99 for orders under £150

Free delivery on orders over £150

Charges may vary depending on size, weight, and location.

6. Remote Areas

Additional charges may apply for Scottish Highlands & Islands, Northern Ireland, Ireland, and other remote areas.
These will be shown before checkout.

7. Ordering

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order.

If an item is unavailable, you will be offered the option to:

Wait for stock

Cancel for a full refund

8. Custom Orders

Custom or special-order items are made to specification and may have extended lead times.
These will be agreed at the time of purchase.
Custom orders are non-refundable unless faulty.

Any deposits taken on custom or special-order items are non-refundable.

9. Right to Cancel (Distance Sales Only)

You have the right to cancel your online order within 14 days of receiving the goods.

To cancel, you must notify us by email or post.
You then have a further 14 days to return the item.

Returned items must be:

In original condition

Complete with all packaging, accessories, and documentation

We may deduct from refunds for loss in value due to unnecessary handling.
Return postage is the customer’s responsibility.
Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving goods (or proof of return).

10. In-Store Purchases

In-store purchases are not eligible for refund or return due to change of mind.
We do not offer cooling-off periods for in-store sales.

Any exchange, part exchange, store credit or resale support is offered at our discretion as a goodwill gesture.

11. Faulty Goods

If you believe an item is faulty, please contact us promptly.

All items are inspected before any resolution is offered.
Where a genuine manufacturing fault is confirmed, we may offer:

Repair

Replacement

Refund

The following are not covered:

Impact or accidental damage

External pressure or stress

Environmental factors (temperature, humidity, dryness)

Misuse or general wear and tear

Items may be referred to the manufacturer for independent assessment.
The manufacturer’s decision will be final.

12. Warranties

All new products include a minimum 12-month manufacturer’s warranty (e.g. Fender), unless stated otherwise.
Consumables (e.g. strings) are excluded.

Some manufacturers offer extended warranties subject to registration.

Used items include a 3-month parts and labour warranty provided by Foulds Guitars, covering faults under normal use.

All warranty claims are subject to inspection.
