In House Teachers

Andy Gatford - Andy is a well-recognised name in guitar tuition in the Derbyshire area. He has been teaching and performing for over 25 years. Andy can teach guitar and bass in any style at any level and is a regular peripatetic tutor at Repton school. Andy also has his own song writing and music production company and has written songs for Disney, as well as music for New Balance football. Ben Glover - Not only has Ben earned a First-Class Honours degree in Popular Music with Music Technology at the University of Derby he has a wealth of performing and teaching experience on both drums and guitar. Ben is particularly adept at guiding pupils through exam preparations. Ben regularly plays in shows, and functions he also plays the drums in the band Oobleck. Dom Scohy - Piano, Music Theory.

Dom grew up in a home filled with music as the son of an international Italian opera singer. Fascinated by sound from the very beginning, he picked up his first instrument at the age of three and began piano lessons soon after. He studied in Brussels at the Académie Franz Constant, a rich and open musical environment where his first teacher, Pierre Thomas, was a finalist in the prestigious Queen Elisabeth Competition. After graduating, Dom continued his classical training at the Brussels Conservatoire before later expanding into jazz, improvisation, and media composition.

Now based in the UK, Dom performs with several local bands, from funk‑jazz fusion to traditional Sufi music and indie pop, and brings this versatility into his teaching. He prepares students for all ABRSM piano grades (1–8), concert diplomas, jazz grades (1–5), and music theory grades (1–8). A native French speaker who also teaches in English, Dom tailors every lesson to the individual in a warm, relaxed atmosphere. His passion for storytelling through music is contagious, and he loves helping students achieve their goals, whether that’s passing an exam, improving band skills, composing, or simply playing for pleasure. you can contact him on 07752593723 or Here

Ethan Fitzgerald - Guitar, Ethan works as a sales assistant at Foulds Guitars and also teaches from our store based studio. He studied performance at Burton College then went on to Derby University where he achieved as BA Hons in Popular Music with Music Technology. He specialises in Rock music with the emphasis on shred!! Send Email

Mary Prince - Drums. With 20 years playing and teaching experience there's not a lot Mary can't do. She specialises in Funk and Rock music as well as graded teaching and theory. She has exstensive gigging experience performing around the UK with various artists. You can contact her Here
