The Carl Martin Axis Flanger proves that flangers can actually replicate the sounds of a great many other effects units. Judicial setting of its four controls can provide convincing chorus, phaser and auto-wah sounds. And, of course, those big, hollow sweeps we know so well.

If you turn all the dials up full, it can also sound like a police siren! Annoy your drummer.
