Cigar Box instruments date back to the mid 19th Century when poor people had to make-do-and-mend and the term DIY didn't exist...

This 4-string version from Lace takes this rough-and-ready approach from way-back-when and adds on state-of-the-art pickup technology in the form of this "matchbook" pickup. Keeping the aesthetic authentic, this unassuming little unit has practically zero noise floor and a wonderful, balanced output with a tone modifier via a push/pull switch on the volume control.

Tuned EBGD, this instrument is easy for a guitarist to pickup or a beginner to get to grips with.
